Caterpillar!

I am so excited!  After a summer of searching the leaves of tulip poplars, I finally found a caterpillar.  Ever since that summer that I found the eggs and raised them, I have been wanting to photograph the process again.  I wish I would have had the camera equipment then that I have now.  But even so, I was pretty excited about the photos I produced with a point-and-shoot camera. You can view that series of posts here:
I’ll still be searching the leaves for the tiny pearl-like eggs, but in the meantime, I was so happy to find this early instar tiger swallowtail caterpillar.

I don't have the patience to find the eggs and caterpillars, so I am delighted to be able to follow yours!
