Scenic Black & White – I Heart Faces

Last week I had the privilege of working with a sweet family at their aunt’s farm where a lovely little gravel lane beckoned us between the fields to the woods beyond.  I had such fun interacting with this couple and their cute children. Luecke-11BWThere’s just something about a bare tree that lends itself to a black and white treatment.  And since the theme is scenic black and white, I thought I’d give it a try using One Willow’s Golden Fields preset for Lightroom.

It's true - My dad's phrase is "ruined for the ordinary".
Your picture is lovely. I love bare trees as well, especially when combined with lines like in this one! I've realized I don't have any pictures with people in them too! Have to start including both!

This is simply wonderful. It just screams Christmas card to me! Hard to beat the beauty of nature.
You made bare trees look beautiful! I really like the love you captured between these two. :)

Beautiful photo, Adrienne... Love the black and white look to that picture... Great couple to photograph also.

Such beautiful leading lines, and such sweet emotion (emotion doesn't need color; in fact, sometimes the absence of color allows the emotion to really shine through). And the tree.... you are so right. Bare trees just cry out for monochrome. I love the tones of the preset, too; I am a bigger fan of sepia than true B/W. I love it!

Love your composition, you have a nice eye! The bare tree does have an impact on the story too. Great shot!

Very good picture in B & W, Much love naked next to the tree as a result of the fall. Greetings.

So I am late to comment on last week's entry, but... :) I love how the angle of their arms is mirrored in the tree behind them. Lovely location!
