More from the Heronry – Skywatch Friday
After I dropped the grass clippings off at the recycling center yesterday evening, I decided to check on the heronry. Some birds are still bringing sticks to finish off their nests. The trees are starting to leaf out now which will make future viewing more difficult, but hopefully I’ll capture a fledgling’s head peeking out over the edge of the nest on one of my visits in the weeks to come.

I've been reading through your posts here and on your other blog. The cutting of trees would make me nauseated, too. It pains me to see all the logging out West in places I don't even live near.
