I ♥ ...Feet?
Welcome to this week's submission to I ♥ Faces. The photography website usually dedicated to faces is taking a break from the norm this week and has asked participants to enter a photo of feet.
I immediately thought of two photos I have in my files, the first one being a photo of my youngest son's feet that I took for his ABC album, and the second of my daughter's feet as she stood in the surf at Canaveral National Seashore.
I ultimately chose the one of my daughter:
We were there in February when the water was much to cold for swimming, but the kids couldn't resist getting as close as possible to the waves. Of course, if you've ever been to the beach, you know that every so often, a bigger wave rolls in reaching farther up the sand than you anticipate. Oh, the giggles once the suprise of the coldness of the water fades! Before you know it, they're standing in the water getting their shoes and pants completely soaked.
This is one of my favorite memories from that vacation. Our visit there was completely spontaneous and so relaxed--exactly the bliss a vacation should be.
I can't wait to see all the other submissions. I know there's going to be a number of really creative takes on this subject. You can check it out by clicking the button below.

I imagine February sea temperatures in Florida are about July sea temperatures in Scotland!
