My friend Patty makes the yummiest Christmas cookies on the planet.  And they’re so pretty, too.  You should hear my kids:  “I call the polar bear.”  “I want the snowflake!” etc.  One thing is for certain, none of them last long around here.  We all get over the “They’re all too pretty to eat” phase after a few minutes of looking at them.  And they taste just as wonderful as they look.  Thanks, Patty!

When I was growing up - our neighbor next door - made the best cookies - we swore she spent hours with the intricate details of the decorating.

I have never been able decorate cookies like that!

Well - we each have our own gifts, right?
This post inspired me to try again this year to make some pretty cut outs. Perhaps I will have time this weekend. :)

Very nice pics. I don't know if you've figured it out yet, but I noticed you asked on facebook about getting the images to display the correct size (and not stretched). You need to change the pixel dimensions in Photoshop.
