Hi Adrienne, I used the lens that came with the camera. 18-55mm and the screwed on two magnifying lenses. One was 2 x or 2 time and the other was 4x. Total of 6 times magnified. Not sure that is what they are called by they only cost about $40.00 for three. You then have to get really close to the things you are photographing. Sometimes the lens will touch the fly or bee.
I think the water lily is one of the nicest flowers there is on or around water. Your photo of this one is nice to see.
