Bleeding Heart

This has been such a beautiful spring.  Our flowering trees, shrubs and plants have never been so pretty.  At least not that I recall.  One of my favorite spring flowers is bleeding heart (Dicentra spectabilis).  The pretty pink hearts hang daintily from the arching stem, and the blooms last a long time.bleeding heart
