Hands-on Fun – I ♥ Faces

grasshopper in boys hands photo by Adrienne Zwart
I wish I could convey to you how much I absolutely adore this photo.  I view my children’s love for God’s Creation as a personal achievement.  While Megan prefers to photograph as I do, Henry’s method is definitely more hands-on.  Always gentle, he thoroughly enjoys his more personal approach. :)
I Heart Faces is taking a break from the norm and focusing on the hands this week.

I didn't even THINK to look through my "bug" pics for a hand photo! I have so many; how could I overlook those? But you... you knew right where to go, didn't you? I love this... one of God's tiny creations resting on a great, big hand (at least to it). Even as THAT creation rests in His hands....

I love this picture Adrienne. It reminds me of summer and days to come! And it also reminds me that all God's creatures are fearfully and wonderfully made. Beautiful!

Sweet photo. What a treat to see him admiring and enjoying the grasshopper.

Beautiful!

I also love it when my kids notice something ( a bird, beautiful scenery, etc.) and point it out to me. It gives us an opportunity to be thankful and be better stewards.

It is a really great picture- but all of yours are really good. What I like best are his amazingly CLEAN hands! OK -the grasshopper is cute, too!

LOL, Heidi. I took this one morning while we were waiting at the bus stop, so he was freshly washed. :)

That does take a gentle touch to handle a delicate creature like that. And for one so little...he must be a sweet fellow!
Awesome pic! How did that little guy sit still for the shot? ;)

What a precious capture! Great work! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, and for telling me about the scripture behind the photograph. It is nice to "meet" you. Take care, allie

It's truly a joy to see how our children can be so different from each other, although so similar in other ways. This is a wonderful post!

Have you read "Altar in the World" by Barbara Brown Taylor? Your photos are altars in the world....

Great job on keeping the critter in focus. That's not always an easy thing to manage. My kiddos also love the "hands-on" approach. :)
