White Campion
Being able to go outside and enjoy nature is such a large part of who I am. I was able to get out early one morning last week. And on my solitary walk, I really did feel joy. Almost as if God put those flowers along the path just for me that day, just because He knows how much I love them. I suppose that is a bit egocentric, but it made me happy. Despite all the thoughts of things going on at home, the sight of wildflowers brought delight to my soul.
The blooms of White Campion open at dusk. Overnight, they are pollinated by moths and then the flowers close up the next morning. It was just after 8 am when I photographed this one which was shaded from the risen sun by the over-hanging bushes and trees.

Go Bless You and your hubby and family,
Betsy
The flower is so pretty...and dainty. I love it. Thanks for the info as well. I know so little about wildflowers, but I'm learning! Beautiful verse...
So be completely delighted in every moment possible!
Go out and look at more flowers....
I thank God for making me the kind of person who loves gardening and nature. I thank Him for having a place and the means to enjoy gardening. I also pray that He will guide my steps so that I'm not just using the time he gives me for myself. Even through blogging, God can use what we do to bring another closer to Him or show us someone who needs prayer. I'm sure he did your steps that day to enjoy the blooms and such and to give you the joy you talked about.
Oh, and I don't remember what the NIV version that I usually read says for that verse, but it sure is a good one. My mind tends to have a multitude of thoughts sometimes, and as in Isaiah 55 my own thoughts are not God's.
