Sunrise

Here in Northeast Ohio, we don't have an abundance of beautiful sunsets or sunrises. Often, the winter evening sky is comprised of ever-deepening shades of gray. And in the morning those grays just brighten up a bit. But yesterday morning as I was getting my son ready for school, I glanced out the window, dropped everything and grabbed the camera.

From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised. Psalm 113:3

I remember those Cleveland winters. I had to get away although it is still nice to visit.

Best to you in His name,

Bill

Oh what glorious colors you captured!
Hi Adrienne, Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you will come back. I am enjoying looking at yours. I was very involved in church (children's ministries and music ministries) when my sons were younger. SO--we probably have some things in common --although I am MUCH older now with 5 grandchildren.
Hugs,
Betsy

You must have been blessed. We did have clear skies but nothing of color. we have been pretty bland here in Brookville where we live.

That's a lovely sunrise you captured. I love how you can see the moon in the first shot.

The last shot has the burst of color, the 2nd shot has the hint of color, & that 1st one has that moon! I love it!!!
Adrienne: Oh, don't hold back on these wonderful skies we have in NE Ohio. You have captured them beautifully. We may have to wait the week but even in the Winter we will get a chance to capture a great sky. We are almost neighbors, I'm from Kent.

I began carring my camera in my pocket ( just a small Kodak Digital)when I go up to the barn to do chores in the morning or start the trucks for the guys before they leave. I have been able to catch some great shots and my camera was right there with me. I am tired of these Ohio winters...such grey skies. I don't remember when it have been sucha dismal winter.
I'm a neighbor too, from Medina.

Any sky we are given is a beautiful sky, we just need to have the eye to appreciate that particular beauty, and yours are beautiful.

Each and everyone of these images is amazing beauty!
I was thinking I had made a comment here, but I am a bit scatterbrained. Plus, sometimes I read blogs on my break at work, and don't get to comment on them there.

I love these pics and the Psalm you put with them.
