Bluets – Today’s Flowers

lavendar spring wildflowers
Enter each day
as upon a stage
lighted and waiting
for your step…

Take earth for your own large room
and the floor of earth
carpeted with sunlight
and hung round with silver wind
as your dancing place.

Hi, Adrienne, what a wonderful blog you have!! Thanks for the comment, as it allowed me to find you! I love these little flowers, and my guide says they do grow in Ontario. I will have to keep an eye out for them. I live in Ottawa, Canada's capital, but way out in the 'burbs.

Ive had a slight love affair going on with bluets since I first "discovered" them as a small child.
My sister and I would go on wild flower hunts and the bluets and alpine/wild strawberry flowers were our hands-down favorites.
Great picture!
